Hi all, we ordered a 1.2 Ultimate auto on 28th March 2022 and was advised at the time to expect a June/July delivery date. It's now nearly 10 months later and still no feedback from the dealer (Pentagon Loughborough) on when the delivery will happen. Has anyone else had similar issues and if so what leadtimes have you guys been experiencing?
Hello and welcome to the forum. I’ve merged your post to an existing one, which you can have a look at.

We ordered on April 9th 2022 and the latest news that we had last week is that the Car isn't built yet. Vauxhall are supposedly saying March, but rather more interesting is the fact that our insurance has been extended to end of August

I believe this thread contains thirteen pages of member’s experiences regarding similar issues and lead-times, have a read.

Hi there
Ordered my Mokka e ultimate 27 January 2022, estimated delivery date early April, if not sooner. Dates come and go and in November I am told the car is built and delivery could be any time soon!?
Phoned last week to be told it could be a week to ANYTIME YOU CAN NAME.
Vauxhall cannot even keep you informed of its delivery processes or what the hold ups are, or any timeframes for delivery.
There is no consistency or openness in their processes, and as I am paying cash less profit for them?
Looks like I chose the wrong car, and or dealership to buy my first ev.

Ordered Mokka-e, Ultimate, Green 19th March 2022. Dealer says It is built & they have the VIN Number, but stuck at uk docks. That was a month ago. Dealer says another 2-3 weeks. ( before Vauxhall can be bothered to deliver it to them.) I’m grateful that at least I’ll get it soon, but I’ll never buy another Vauxhall. I wouldn’t be surprised if Vauxhall/Opel go bust in the near future after the contempt they’ve shown customers, & as the UK gets flooded with Chinese cars.

I had the longest wait % wise.
Given an estimated delivery date car took twice that again whilst they looked for a cable.

Over 300% of the original wait, then after having it just 5 weeks, EH had it back for 9 weeks while they completely ruined it and stole parts.

I also subscribe to the VW ID3 forum, people on there are still waiting on August 2021 orders to be fulfilled, VW's latest issue is that they have run out of a certain alloy wheel style.
We only got our Mokka e Ultimate because we were prepared to change our first choice of colour and dropped lucky. Ironically it is now cheaper to buy a Tesla Y with delivery within two months than a Cupra Born which you may or may not get before the end of the year.
We're doomed Captain Mainwaring.

I ordered my E-Mokka in February 2022 (and was assured at the time that there was no delivery issues with microchips as Vauxhall had forward-bought them). As of today, (Jan 2023) I am still waiting for a delivery time.

Has anyone else ordered after me and received their car? I ask because I have a sneaky feeling that my order price is locked in (and value has gone up a lot since then) my vehicle is being pushed down the build queue. It is just a suspicion mind.

You're waiting longer than me then! Reading the various threads I saw a lot of queries like yours relating to E-Mokka and so wondered if the delays were specific to these. As my order is for an old school petrol I assume the issues are actually across the whole range. It's really rare for me to even see a new Mokka on the road so maybe they're using their capacity to satisfy European orders.

Hello all, I'm new here, I ordered Mokka E Ultimate in December 2022; told expected 31st March 2023. It's a Motability order. Judging by this thread, looking at later in the year (September) before delivery. Hope I'm wrong!
Add a year.
Actually, to be honest, when the new model is released they might pull their thumbs out and clear the backlog.
There might be hope yet.

The dealers having you on. Vauxhall are quoting 8 months if you buy it direct.
Mokka’s way to expensive now, so there might be a load of cancellations?
Motability was ÂŁ0 advanced payment 6 months ago on Mokka Ultimate Electric. Now ÂŁ1,699!
you can buy a Tesla Model 3 for only ÂŁ4,345 more.

Surly on Motorbilty you pay the price it was when you ordered the Car

Hi from Finland. My Executive (Opel) Mokka-e was ordered 23rd December 2021 and still waiting. Been contact with dealer quite actively and every date they gave me has failed, first was 1st April 2022.

Ok, now I have chassis number and my journey with this waiting is hopefully almost over.

But how much you guys think this waiting is because Mokka is built by Poissy French instead Russelsheim Germany. My opinion is that germans atleast can give better guess how much time you must wait.

The French factory have been producing some truly abysmal examples.
I bought a car cash and trusted that there was some quality checks at the factory, import centre and finally the dealership.
I was let down on 3 counts and the car had numerous body panel issues.
The bonnet didn't line up at the junction between the rearmost edge and the banana panel on either side, the rear hatch was very wonky and jutted out on one side and the driver's side rear door was about 2 or 3 mm lower than it should have been.
Then there were the missing bits of kit which had still made it onto the spec sheet, no ambient lighting, handsfree unlocking and no Qi charger for the phone.
There may well be other things it lacked but I rejected the car on the basis it had been built by a blind idiot but I think they somehow wrote that down as missing too much standard equipment.

What a waste of time and money.

My advice would be don't trust that anyone would have bothered to QC the car and mention rejection or walk away if unhappy. At least give them a chance to rectify bodywork issues but rather than my garage offering to have that done at their time and expense they expected me to drive it almost 2 hours away so they could see it then to do the same again when they could fit it in which would have been 3 months later than the first inspection which would have already taken 10 weeks.

Frankly, if a dealer treats customers like that they can't expect anything other than immediate rejection unless an issue is trivial enough that they can deal with it themselves with the customer in a courtesy vehicle.

Ah, so it's not only a Vauxhall UK problem and judging by post #267 Germany VW (Dresden) doesn’t fare better.
