The French factory have been producing some truly abysmal examples.
I bought a car cash and trusted that there was some quality checks at the factory, import centre and finally the dealership.
I was let down on 3 counts and the car had numerous body panel issues.
The bonnet didn't line up at the junction between the rearmost edge and the banana panel on either side, the rear hatch was very wonky and jutted out on one side and the driver's side rear door was about 2 or 3 mm lower than it should have been.
Then there were the missing bits of kit which had still made it onto the spec sheet, no ambient lighting, handsfree unlocking and no Qi charger for the phone.
There may well be other things it lacked but I rejected the car on the basis it had been built by a blind idiot but I think they somehow wrote that down as missing too much standard equipment.

What a waste of time and money.

My advice would be don't trust that anyone would have bothered to QC the car and mention rejection or walk away if unhappy. At least give them a chance to rectify bodywork issues but rather than my garage offering to have that done at their time and expense they expected me to drive it almost 2 hours away so they could see it then to do the same again when they could fit it in which would have been 3 months later than the first inspection which would have already taken 10 weeks.

Frankly, if a dealer treats customers like that they can't expect anything other than immediate rejection unless an issue is trivial enough that they can deal with it themselves with the customer in a courtesy vehicle.

Sad to hear that you have quality issues. Cars that I tested feels like that they were well build but that is ofcourse always the case with cars that dealers give you to test drive. I won't say anything to quality matter before see mine, just fingers crossed.
Ah, so it's not only a Vauxhall UK problem and judging by post #267 Germany VW (Dresden) doesn’t fare better.
Well when world is going crazy in these days everybody have their own problems. I mean just to compare Poissy snd Russelsheim or Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port and discuss will we be happier customer at waiting time if Mokka is built somewhere else than France

Hi! New member here, living in Denmark, I share my experience here:

I ordered my Mokka-e Ultimate back on 5th April 2022 and got a told at the time that delivery would take in months. In the middle of August, it was pushed to November and in December it says that it was on the way to production.... as of 22 of January 2023, they had no new status and I still have no date of delivery.

I am surprised, Stellantis, is running some offers in Denmark where they offer FAST Delivery on the Mokka-e, corsa-e and other stellantis EVs (peugeot, citroen, etc). I have confronted my delearship about this and they say that they are talking about 3/4 months but that all pending/previous orders would come first. I am amazed they have the courage of having those claims when they have not delivfdered a single Mokka-e to some of the delears in the country.

Additionally, if it gets delay too much, I guess maybe we benefit of this? Electric Motors Production Ramp Up to Reach More Than 1 Million in France by 2024 | Stellantis where it says:

I imagine existing orders will have the older kit fitted as the larger battery and more efficient motor all have a significant cost.
The older Mokka is gutless when you need the power most, overtaking. Although it remains to be seen if the newer model would be safer to drive it is something I'm looking to find out about.
It might be more realistic to expect 8-12 months on the delivery for a newer model in the UK. Not so sure about other countries.

Perhaps you should find out from the dealer if your car would benefit from the upgrades.

My wife ordered a mokka e ultimate 1st April on mobility scheme and she got message from vauxhall last weekend that it has not even got a build date yet.after 9 months utter disgrace vauxhall you should be ashamed.

We ordered a petrol Ultimate in late March 2022 and we finally got a call yesterday telling us that it's available to collect on Monday, more or less 10 months later!

I must admit I'll be sorry to see my Seat Arona Excellence go, as it's been faultless after 50k miles. However, there just wasn't a good enough deal to replace it at the time. The Mokka ticked all the boxes spec and looks wise and it had a decent deal at the time.

Hopefully, it will be worth the wait and I only have to return to the forum to say positive things!

Hope everyone waiting gets some positive news soon!

Hi all, this is my first post. I ordered my Mokka-e ultimate in quartz grey on 25 Apr 22 with estimated delivery Sep 22, then Dec 22, Feb 23, May 23 and now early Sep 23. Assuming it doesn't get delayed any further, my total waiting time would be around 16 months! Ordered via a salary sacrifice scheme. I don't want to cancel my order (I secured it before the price hike), however having read the last 15 pages, I'm feeling rather disheartened. On the one hand I am bit grateful for the delay as my wage hasn't been reduced (yet), but I recently moved further away from my workplace and now have to commute into London. Would much prefer to drive in if I'm honest. On a positive note, my sister ordered a Kia e-Niro around Sep 22 with estimated delivery Jun 23, however she is getting it next week due to a cancellation, so maybe there's hope for all of us. (Though I'm aware the 2 cars are from different manufacturers) Will keep you updated either way.

You have similar issues to some others maybe?
If you are able to pay cash and just buy a car there is very little wait.
The complexity seens to be with schemes and things.
Perhaps you do have some flexibility, in which case you might be able to fet a discounted ore registered vehicle for a similar price to your original deal or rate on a cancellation.

I ordered my Vauxhall Mokka-e Ultimate in April 2022 to collect on July 2022, and was informed the buid date was likely to be October. He later contacted me to say it is now showing December 2022. I've had nothing since. I have contacted Vauxhall around 7 times just asking for an update, but still waiting for a response in the middle of February 2023.
Vauxhall are atrocious. The vehicle I ordered is no longer on the scheme!
It was nil advance payment when I ordered it, it is now saying ÂŁ1700 on Vauxhall's website so I'm reluctant to cancel it.

It's my first anniversary today. I've been waiting exactly, one year today, for my new vauxhall mokka e ultimate. I've heard every excuse you can imagine and some you couldn't imagine. This will be the last time I will ever buy a new. An absolute disgrace and a shambles.

You don't have to buy new this time.
Buying something that's a year or so old with just a few 1000 miles on it won't have generally been knackered out, the spec you get should = the spec of the vehicle rather than numerous bits missing, readily available plus a few quid cheaper than new.

Many have been very well looked after.
Go for a Launch Edition or an Ultimate for 27-28k you might have a good chance of picking and choosing from a number of them and being behind the wheel within days.

I ordered the exact same model on the 27/12/21, still waiting. Called customer service, they said it will be delivered in march 23, so i called the dealer and they said they havent got any info on delivery date. No confidence in the dealer whatsoever

Hi, Recieved a call from our dealer this evening letting us know my wife’s motability car is here, picking it up on Wednesday at 2pm. We ordered our car 08/04/22 so waited almost a year. I know some of us have been waiting even longer. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer for everyone else who have been waiting.

Just in case anyone is interested in picking up a bargain my Green Launch Edition Mokka e, fully loaded ie nothing missing is still unsold at a dealership.
I have a set of spare wheels with tyres which cost over ÂŁ1500 plus my false boot floor and 2 sets of mats which I could bundle in as a deal plus if anyone is interested in the private plate I had on it I'll let that go for half price.

It's a good way to jump the queue, get a car with nothing missing which was well looked after and the dealer is itching to move it on so I might be able to use a bit of influence to squeeze them a bit more.

Serious contenders PM me and I'll do as much as I can to help you out.
Better to have something immaculate, not even 2 years old and save 15k than something new with loads missing and likely to throw a massive wobbler as evidenced by numerous posts which highlight vauxhalls move to using various cheap parts to cut costs. Hopefull this helps someone get into a Mokka e cheaply and quickly.

In case the level of spec is confusing it has everything on it.
Leather seats, massage function etc.
Matrix headlights, Qi charger etc.
Battery has been well looked after etc.
