Well, I had an update today, quoting "world shortages of materials there are going to be significant delays" and still can't get a build date... (optimistically) I arranged to get the charger fitted soon just yesterday... Wonder if I'll go a full 12 month wait

Something found that might be of interest...

Waiting impatiently for your new EV to arrive, or had it delivered already? Then please help this project by sharing some details about your order:

https://evdelivery.org/

The goal is to get some insight into EV deliveries worldwide. EV's are in short supply, and many car dealerships seem to just make up delivery times, which are often not met. It also seems there’s randomness at play. Some people get their EV delivered much sooner than others, but no one seems to know why.

EVdelivery.org is not asking you for personally identifiable information, just some details on what EV you've ordered, and when.

It will only take you a minute! Just do it: evdelivery.org

Hopefully, with enough entries in the database, some interesting data will emerge.

Picked up our red Mokka e yesterday as the result of a cancelled order and me making a phone call at just the right time. So far so good but the dealer did confirm that they had a missive from Vauxhall regarding another delay in chip production putting things back even further with orders.

Post some pictures if you can. Might give others a reminder of what one looks like whilst they are still waiting.
Congratulations on getting it after all this time.
Even though it's not the one you had allocated to your order.

I ordered my mokka e ultimate in May 2022, been waiting patiently was expecting delivery before Christmas to get a call Monday that it was now delayed till June 2023!! So I called around 20 dealerships to be told I couldn’t get one of there stock mokkas as it’s on motobility. I finally rang Bristol street motors Chesterfield on Tuesday and confirmed Wednesday delivery next Wednesday 14th Dec just like that. Had a few hiccups but they have been great and genuinely didn’t car how I was paying. Moral of the story don’t always listen to car salesman they just want your money but some really want to help. By the way Perrys Doncaster are a waste of space.

Bumping this thread as our Mokka has finally arrived at the Dealership.

After the great system migration in August, we got caught up in the transporter migration causing further delays. Now the car has arrived, we've been told there's a marker on the vehicle halting registration whilst Vauxhall investigate a fault and issue fix instructions. Even the dealer started their email with 'you can't make this up'.

Turns out our Christmas gift is further delays.

Anyone else expecting delivery having the same issue?

Could be worse, 7 I-Pace Jags went up in smoke a few days ago because the transporter had a wheel fire.
What made me laugh was that anyone ordering a silver car who had seen the first grainy images might have thought it was theirs if the dealership was anywhere near Nottingham.

After a change of underpants and a better look at the situation things became clear.

I seam to be caught up in this transporter migration. After many date changes I was told car would be with dealer 21st Nov. After getting in touch with Vauxhall customer services, was told to tell my dealer to contact logistics. He was told my car was at Tilbury docks and would be moved to Sheerness to a wait delivery. My dealer question why are they doing this as we are only 10 miles from Tilbury. So you have to drive pass us to get to Sheerness. Was told this is the new way it is done now everything goes through Sheerness. Just another way of causing more delays its a joke.

Any updates Folks? We are still waiting. Ridiculous situation now in that the Motability Sales Chap is off sick and seemingly there is nobody else able to give us an update? We were told in September that our Car should be appearing in January, but from what I am reading here, I am not holding my breath.

For health and safety reasons that is inadvisable. :)

Have the dealership or Motability intimated the wait for an ICE type vehicle?

I am waiting for a Mokka-e Ultimate which was ordered in early August. I was initially told not to expect delivery until March 2023, then I got an email from the dealer advising me it would be May at the earliest, followed by a second email advising me that it was likely to be July. Just last week I spoke to someone at a local supermarket who had a 22 plate Mokka-e Ultimate and asked him about how he found the car etc. He spoke highly of it and went as far as saying it was the best car he ever owned.

Unfortunately I didn't like the answer to my next question which was about order/delivery times. He ordered his car through Motability in early January 2022 with the delivery taking place the first week in December. This information coupled with my latest email suggests that the waiting period for the Vauxhall Mokka-e Ultimate is indeed 11 months from the order date.

With this length of period I would probably have been gnashing my teeth and considering cancelling my order but with the news that Opel/Vauxhall are going to be adding a 20% bigger battery to the electric Mokka in March 2023 with deliveries starting in May, I am willing to wait 11 months for delivery but I still don't like it.

Finally spoke to Dealership, Estimated delivery time back in September was January, now hearing May. Obviously, the car hasn't been assembled yet. Dealer has extended Insurance on current vehicle to August just to be on the safe side. Hmmmm. :censored:

Hi, anyone been receiving realistic delivery times on motability for a GS line auto? I realise we are back of the queue after non motability orders but dealer wont commit to say year, two years, 6 months. Could do with a plan.

As the search function is temporarily out of action, I have merged this post. Fredave
Hi Terry, there was a similar observation and suspicions about HP/PCP orders being built quicker than Motability orders and while I cannot provide a definite answer to them, I can provide you with this piece of information, furnished by the Motability Representative at Arnold Clark (Vauxhall) Hamilton Road, Glasgow.

I had occasion to attend the garage to furnish insurance details for my wife so she can be added to the insurance for the Mokka-e whenever it arrives. At that time there was a car transporter with 7 Mokka on it and I jokingly asked if one of them was mine, the salesperson told me that I wasn't even half way there (Ordered 05/08/22). I asked him if retail orders were being completed quicker than Motability orders and he categorically answered "No". He then went on to say that of the seven Mokka models, 4 were for Motability customers together and 3 were for "retail" customers with every order being placed within 14 days of each other back in February 2022.

And yet almost every dealer states that fleet and motability take similar priority but retail are higher than both because the dealer gets paid quickly and make the most profit per vehicle, especially it would seem for finance purchases where the dealer gets a large bung from the interest paid to the finance company.

Hi all, we ordered a 1.2 Ultimate auto on 28th March 2022 and was advised at the time to expect a June/July delivery date. It's now nearly 10 months later and still no feedback from the dealer (Pentagon Loughborough) on when the delivery will happen. Has anyone else had similar issues and if so what leadtimes have you guys been experiencing?
