It's not always about Boot Space though Gaz, for us, it was the ease of getting in and out that mattered most. Boot space is a consideration obviously, but there's only us two, so losing back seats is no hardship when required.
Yes, as I said though for those who need to put say a mobility scooter in there is a very weak raised boot panel.
I had to make my own because I wasn't even supplied with one but comparing it to the one in a newer Mokka I bought recently my home made one was far stranger.
The height if the boot lip without it makes it difficult to use so anyone with serious mobility issues would probably struggle.
It seems that Vauxhall have pretty much grabbed half the market for the motability sales the other cars available are perhaps kess desirable in terms of size and looks but surely vauxhall could have seen wgat we see abd churned out a better volume of vehicles to cope with demand rather than the Citroen or Peugeot models from the same factory which languish on dealers forecourts as they are all very overpriced.
I agree that they need to cater for private customers before fleet and motability but there seem to be an awful lot of people waiting for an unmodified vehicle for months, dare I say approaching a year for some.
How long would someone usually wait?
When I bought the Launch Edition it was originally 4 weeks but that was pushed back when they forgot to provide the charging cables.
Surely motability customers don't usually have to wait more than a couple of weeks longer than anyone else?
