I suppose that I have fallen foul of my own expectations of what I would have "thought" to be reasonable updates from the Dealer?
I worked in sales for most of my working life, dealing directly with the Public and Wholesalers and know exactly what was expected from me as far as maintaining contact with my customers. I completely understand that things have changed greatly since those days, but I also know what would have happened to me should I have not fulfilled my part in the sales chain.
@Anupanu, the reason why we were more or less forced to go with this dealership was simply that they were the nearest supplier to us since our original Motability dealership was sold. It's a strange situation in many ways? Murketts in Huntingdon have become EMG and no longer hold a Motability Sales Dealership, BUT.... Do still maintain Motability Cars for servicing etc. I have spoken to them and they are equipped and more than happy to look after the Mokka-e once it has arrived. They offer one particular service that really helps us out (due to our personal situations) they are perfectly happy to collect the car and then return it after it has been serviced. Obviously they did not do this during the pandemic, but now are offering this again and it really does help.
When I tell people that "service" of that "quality" would have meant instant dismissal when I worked for a living they come up with nonsense about that being particularly harsh.
If it's someone I'm complaining to or about I tell them that it was absolutely reasonable and customer service these days is particularly 💩 ****.

Often they just don't care or are just too stupid to realise how useless they actually are.

To reminisce about halcyon days and sales people has no connection with sales today. Since the advent of the www the majority of sales I would imagine are conducted using this facility. Therefore the salesperson deals occasionally via the phone and only actually deals face to face on signing the finance, collection or payment for the vehicle. There is very little time for a relationship with the customer as sales figures take priority. That unfortunately is the world today as time is money.

Did you go to Boongate instead? This is where I ordered my mums Motability one late June and at that point was given Feb-March estimate. Zero updates since, definitely going to chase that up now.

Edit - Just rang up, apparently update as of last week. Currently looking at January.

Picked up the MY2022D Ultimate today.
There is no wireless charging pad.
I'm sure it's on the spec but could be a victim of the parts and chips shortage.

Has anyone else found the Qi charger missing?

In some ways it's to my benefit as you can't put keys or change on the thing and my phone doesn't fit in there anyway.
Without the charger there's more space but the whole thing would be prone to scratching. Has anyone found some sort of liner that fits?

I too thought the car was coming with an induction charger, I queried it with the dealer, but he assured me it was only on the launch edition.
Did I believe him?!?

When I ordered the Launch Edition it was said that it could be ordered for other models for £200 but could not be fitted retrospectively.
"The LE included thousands of pounds of extras and options that no other model would have".
Of course that was a big old fib and the ultimate was available pretty quickly and it seemed with everything the limited edition car was supposed have to make it unique.
They had said that the ultimate had everything as far as options go, not rugs though and now seemingly no Qi charge pad.
At least I can see the shark more easily.

At least we got leather (hope you wanted it!) My dealer said some cars were coming through with leather, others not. I was lucky, apparently.
If I hadn't heard from other sources what a mess Stelantis was making of their ordering and delivery system, I would definitely not have believed him

Got the leather so that's good.
Need to drive for 20 mins to get things working so will test everything later.
Oddly, drove to dealer in a green one and came home in a grey one but it didn't seem as comfortable. Maybe the seats need to give a little but my hand ached a little so a few small adjustments to the seat and steering are still needed.
Other people seem to have had money knocked off where bits are missing or not working so it might be worth a word with them.

As the spec I attached above definitely says the wireless pad should be included I guess they'll state that the spec can change without notice.
I've heard some have got money back so maybe if anyone reading this was in that position they might reveal what was missing and how much of a refund they got it could help us and others alike.

Auto dimming anti dazzle rear view mirror seems to be missing too.
The mirror I have doesn't seem to have a lever but looks cheap and nasty compared to the one I'm used to. What I see out of the back with it is much more limited. At least the camera works.

B pillar "e" badges which took pride of place on the LE are also missing on the ultimate.
I forgot to check for footwell lighting last night so it's probably time to make a list.

Vauxhall website now pricing a Ultimate spec at £37,220 😱, no way I'd buy a VX at that price.

The Mambe Green car we ordered in April is expected to be with dealer start of November. Fingers crossed it has the full leather I really wanted.

Hopefully any orders already in place will be fulfilled at the prices agreed.
The build quality isn't good enough to warrent those prices, especially when cars are turning up with bits missing.

Taking the proverbial, but there must be room for negotiation.

For the same money you can buy a higher spec megane, built by people who take pride in doing things properly.
Stellantis have completely ruined Vauxhall, and are probably not far off doing the same to Peugeot. There appears to be fewer complaints from the Citroen crowd.

Vauxhall do seem to be the forgotten brand (Opel too)
I mean, how can you hope to maintain sales of the best selling car in the UK (Corsa) with just four colours,(plus special red on the special edition, electric only '40')?
How can you hope to sell a medium size hatch like the Astra with no manual diesel option?
How can you put the price of the Mokka up massively whilst removing specification? (Leather, Induction charging, Dual Zone Climate)

I ordered my Mokka E Ultimate on Motability on the 21st March 2022 from Eden, and was advised at the time of long and unknown wait times.

On the 27th of September, I received a build date of 25/11/22

On the 28th of September, I got a call asking me if I was fine not receiving leather seats or a massage function (I didn't know I had) for money back after, or to wait longer, I happily said "gimme the money, and the car quicker"

On the 12th of October, I was told "...the Build date from the factory has been removed, i will keep you updated..."

So I am stuck with no build date again. From my occasional lurking in this thread, feels like I'm now unlikely to see my car until the new year... Would be really helpful for it to arrive sooner, at least for all the rebates and money I'll get back on delivery.

Hi, new on here. Ordered my Mokka e Ultimate (in Diamond Black) at the end of March via the Motability Scheme. was told 4-5months for delivery.
Have had to keep ringing for updates, although the supplier said they would give regular updates. So at the moment no movement on the car, told last week that they will get an update on the orders early October from Vauxhall.
Fingers crossed that has been movement on the order.
Hi, just an update on my order, finally got an answer from the dealer that the car should be with them sometime November/December

Hi Hamster Doodle, We ordered my wife’s car the Mokka e Ultimate Quartz Grey on the 8th of April 2022 from Arnold Clark (Motability) and at the time was given a delivery date of the 27th of November. I just called them last week for an update and similar to yourself, i was told by the dealer, he was confident the car should be here November/ December. So hopefully that won’t change.

Hi, I ordered Mokka ultimate mamba green petrol on mobility beginning of April. Was told time of order that delivery will be approx July. Then told 1st week of October update then was 2nd week of October. Finally now have been informed 14th November keeping my fingers crossed that I actually get this car before Christmas. How long have others been waiting for petrol model?
