Order - lead times discrepancy

I ordered my Mokka e ultimate on 17/6/2022 and was given a delivery date of 04/01/2023, then March 2023, the dealership rang me early May to offer me a cancelled order only to retract the offer 2 hours later, I was told then my car wasn’t even started at this stage and it could be September, I’ve had my charger installed in July 2022, hopefully I’ll not have to wait too much longer, it’s getting to the stage that I don’t remember what it looks like lol , as there are not too many of them about. I think the frustrating bit is the lack of communication from the manufacturer to the dealership and on to the customer , it’s been 13 months now

Fionanic, 13 months and still not getting your car is truly awful. I thought that the 11 months it took for me to get mine was excessive but just like you, not a single call from Vauxhall or the Vauxhall franchise to provide an update. In fact I was getting quite annoyed about my car still not in my possession, I phoned the franchise and was told that my car had been delivered to them 48 hours earlier and that I could collect my car in 5 days. I was really happy about that but when I asked why I wasn't phoned about the update, I was told that they were really busy and didn't have time. It seems that as soon as Vauxhall get their money, they forget about their customers and target potential customers above everything else. Hopefully your wait shouldn't be much longer though and the wait is worthwhile.

Hi Jayant, I’m really happy you are getting your car, hope it meets all your expectations, I can’t wait to get mine, let’s hope I’m not waiting too much longer 😊🤞

About eleven months I was waiting. During that time I read countless horror stories on the internet. Not only about delivery delays but also about the problems that people were having with their cars.
Pleased to say that I have had no problems so far and despite being somewhat frustrating, it was worth the wait.
Ah hi Rocinr1ch
Thank you, nice to know there are good stories to tell once you receive the car, happy driving 😊🙏

Gosh you’re lucky @BlackpoolMokka, I’m still waiting, not a dickie bird from Vauxhall or garage coming up to 14 months , I wrote recently to garage asking for some communication but nothing, got into a chat and they were to check dates and come back to me , 3 weeks now passed 🥹 just as well I have good patience, they told me September so I suppose I don’t have long now to wait, please God

So latest update about my order. Spoke with garage and I’ve been told that my car is in production and that it should be delivered in September 2023. Whoo hoo 😀😀 maybe some light at end of tunnel. I’ll keep you updated of any further developments 😇

I’m delighted you are getting your cars, I ordered mine 17/06/2022 and still waiting, I don’t understand why folk who ordered after me are taking delivery before me, but am delighted that others have good news stories. Hopefully it’ll be my turn soon to divulge my good news , fingers crossed.

Hiya Ricky123

thank you 🙏 mine was the Mokka e ultimate mamba green, I see none of them about my home town so hoping when I do get mine I’ll be the first to buck the trend 😂😂 fingers crossed for September and I will keep you all informed with pics just to show it really does exist 🙄🙄 happy driving in yours hope it’s all that’s promised and more

What on earth is going in, think I’d rather not have known it was in the UK, crazy how they doing this. Going by what’s going on, if you changed your car every 3 years you’d probably have to order your new one once you take delivery 🙄

@Sheittnerous my lead time was from June 2022 to January 2023, then March 2023 and finally in June 2023 I was told September 2023, I got an email a few weeks ago telling me my vehicle was built and on its way from France with a delivery date likely second week in September 2023, fingers crossed I’ll get word next week of when to collect her, getting excited now, hope it pans out well. What colour did you order- I ordered the mamba green or iconic green I believe it may be called now.
