Hi

I’m after some help please. I have a Petrol Mokka x auto with 39000 on the clock. A few weeks ago we had a plastic burning smell coming through the air vents, we looked under bonnet but couldn’t find anything? Today after a short 15 min drive we noticed a strong burning smell coming out the front grill but again couldn’t see anything. We have had the car since aug 2019 and only done about 4000 miles. Any help would be appreciated

Many Thanks

Vauxhall has had problems with the heater fan resistor pack causing fires on some models, it is not a known fault on the Mokka, however as the resistor pack is usually installed in the air flow from the fan to keep it cool, it would be prudent to check the resistor pack and wiring for signs of overheating.
