I have an Exclusiv 1.4t awd and have about 2000 miles on the clock...<div sab="864">Yesterday I had to park just of road1 car length on a muddy field. As soon as I drove onto the field the wheels slipped in the mud. However I thought this being a 4*4 then automatically it would do what was needed to give me traction. It did the job ok but during its manouvering as I inched it forward and the wheels were gripping a sort of burning smell was evident in the car. Remember this was mud I was on not tarmac and this was not a rubber smell.
<div sab="864">I was wondering that as I have never been off road in the car and have not to my knowledge ever engaged the awd could this be normal until awd has been used a few times?
<div sab="864">Reversing out of the muddy fieldwas fine and no issues when travelling homeafter the event.
<div sab="864">Comments would be appreciated because the smell was pretty pungent and seemed to me to eminate from the wheels...
<div sab="864">Thanks
