1 week in and I'm following a Transit on the M20 when bang! A small stone wallops the windscreen. Nice bullet chip right in the drivers eye line. The snow hadn't arrived in Kent at that point, so I got on to the Insurance Co and onto National Windscreens. They'd not heard of a Mokka yet so the usual "oh, it's a small SUV, new on the market, bit like an Astra on stilts." "Well we can't get a mobile service to you until Monday, but if you can drop it in to us we'll try and sort it without having to replace the windscreen".

It got me thinking. What if the chip was a crack? Would someone like National have a Mokka windscreen? If not, I guess the Mok would be off the road, a week old? What about other parts? How well would non-Vauxhall retailers like, say, Kwick-Fit deal with them?

All parts at the mo will pretty much all be manufacturer supplied.

OE-Equiv parts more than most likely havent hit the market yet
