Hi. We have a 2024 Mokka ultimate and had it since new January 24.
everything has been fine with it but in the last few weeks I have noticed under the rubber mat on the driver’s side it is wet. I take the mats out every so often to wash and clean them hence how I found the wet. I only put them back in once they are dry.
It hasn’t happened anytime since owning it up until now.
yeaterday I noticed water actually in the rubber mat on the passenger side. I can see or feel any wetness around the sides or doors etc.
I have got wind deflectors fitted and my first thought was these. But saying that they have been fitted for over 12 months now so surely it would have happened before now especially through the winter months.

So. The car went in yesterday and they found it has a leak but not sure where.
Car is booked back in for early October to have the whole interior stripped out including dash board.
The believe the leak is from the bulkhead area. So once it has been stripped out they will water test it to see if they can pinpoint where it is actually is.

Are there talking about a leak which is letting rainwater in or a leak which is letting coolant enter the cabin?

The thing to do is go for a run with the heater turned off and see if things are wetter.
Then go for a run with the heater turned on and akso check.

It might take some effort to dry things thoroughly enough to see what's going on.

If it's water ingress through the windscreen or a blockage where water should drain through the intake then again checks can be nade without waiting for rain.
I'd yse food dye to first check if ut's coming in through the fresh air system.
The problem is if it's difficult to get the carpet etc up to do any testing yourself.
The point in trying to narrow things down yourself is that a dealer might charge on a daily basis for a courtesy vehicle, the vehicle might be more costly to run than your own and things can drag on for weeks.

If you are totally reliant on the garage doing everything then it's not uncommon for them to claim the issue was traced and resolved only to still be an issue once you get the car back.
It's dependent entirely on how decent the people are who look at it.

Whatever the case, best of luck.
