So I have yet to receive a return call from my dealer despite leaving a couple of messages. But for me the laughable part was receiving the following email from Vauxhall


Dear.........


Thank you for taking part in our customer order tracking pilot, We really appreciate your feedback to help us continually improve the Vauxhall customer experience. Please can you answer the following short survey so we can get some feedback on your experience.

I haven't taken delivery of the car yet so do you really want my feedback on the tracking and delivery process???!

I suppose these things are sent to test us

If they're daft enough to send such surveys out to people who have yet to take delivery then in my book they should be prepared!!

Load both barrels and let rip (figuratively speaking, of course)!

The tracker says my car is expected to arrive on 5 Jan 1900.

Now that is a joke!

Had an interesting conversation with a senior vauxhall geezer about the tracker. Apparently it is only a pilot scheme and should not be relied upon for accuracy.
Hopefully this means that most forum members won't have to wait as long but also reinforces my earlier opinion.

Treat it as a gimmick and nothing more I reckon
