Chancellor George Osborne has scrapped a planned 3p rise in fuel duty, but benefits face a further squeeze as he admitted the UK economy was struggling.

There will be more money for roads, London's Underground and schools, but councils were warned of cuts to come....

planned rise in fuel duty is good, but they have only scrapped it because fuel sales have started to plummet as people simply cannot afford to bridge the gap between budget and ever rising fuel costs like we used to (to think a couple of years back we where getting stressy about it going over a pound, i'd happily deal with capped fuel prices of 90ppl now a days)
as for the rest, well I really don't know, hate that money constantly gets pumped into london but the rest of the country seemingly gets the finger half the time, worlds economy is still screwed, cant keep spending what you havent got as eventually the music stops (ala greece)
