I thought after about a month I would see if I could add Adaptive Forward Lighting, only cos I like the look of the LED DLRs. £790. Fortunately I couldn't!
Then thought should I have gone for an SE instead of Tech Line (both 1.7 Auto) but
""¢ Leather seat facings - wouldn't have minded
""¢ Electrically heated front seats - Got with winter pack
""¢ Ergonomic sports front seats - Haven't got a sports bum!
""¢ Rear seat centre armrest with drinks holders - Never sit in the back. (Selfish bugger, I hear)
""¢ Adaptive Forward Lighting - See above
""¢ Bi-xenon headlights with dynamic beam levelling - Since redundancy / retirement (at 59) don't have to drive a lot at night.
""¢ Electrically heated steering wheel - Got with winter pack
""¢ Driver's sunglasses holder - With 19 other cubby holes?
""¢ Chrome-effect exterior door handles - will be an accessory/extra shortly if I must.
""¢ Alloy-effect door sill covers - Bought stainless steel ones (£39)
""¢ Dark-tinted rear windows - Want, might get tinted.
""¢ Midnight silver-effect 18-inch alloy wheels with 215/55 R 18 tyres - Bothered, tell the difference?
Would have had to pay for Rear Camera £200, SS spare £100 and paint £100 (=£400*) on both.
So SE for £22945 + £855 (Navi600) + £400* = £24200 before discount.
Or TechLine £18445 + £270 (Winter pack) + 400* = £19115 before discount
Insurance group SE 14E vs TechLine 12E.
Difference = £5085 for leather seats, an arm rest in the back, a sunglasses holder and dearer insurance, I think I'll be alright.
