Hi all,

anyone removed the rear wiper completely and bunged it up?
(i never use rear wiper and always take it off for a clean look)

I have not .dont see the point it only takes a minute to wipe it.
Plus it’s there to clean the rear window so you can see .

I just like the clean look with no wiper there. Plus dont like when put it in reverse and auto wipes the dirt across the window

Driving on motorways in appalling weather, (or any road at times) you realise their need.

It is easier but i like the “clean” look aswell
Easy to remove and blank off the hole, but with our great British weather you gonna get a large build up of crud on that rear window especially on Motorways/Dual carriage ways.
30 miles down the M5 on Sunday and the back of mine looked like a cement mixer, Except where the wiper swept.

Not for the rear one. Water repellant helps no end. But also what do you think they do in saloons like a passat with no wiper
