I have a 2015 1.4 turbo petrol Mokka. When I switch the engine off the radiator fans comes on and stays on for a long time (>30 minutes). The only way to stop the fan is to switch the ignition on and off without starting the engine. I know sometimes the fan can come on when stopped but it should go off after a couple of minutes when things have cooled down.
Has anyone got any ideas what is causing this please. The power resistor on the radiator was changed 3 months ago because it was open circuit and the fan worked correctly. This fault has only just started.

WOW! That's an old car ;) I've had it where the radiator fan stays on (not comes on) after the engine is switched off to cool the radiator but never had the radiator fan come on after the engine is switched off. I'd take it back to where the resistor was fitted for them to look at why their work has caused the fan to behave oddly.

He originally had is down as a 1965 reg car - I went with humour on this one and the original poster corrected their post.
