Have reported this to Vauxhall, took nearly an hour of my life to be told to go to a dealer and report it, then get back to vauxhall.
I asked if the dealer would report to them and was told, Surprisingly, they don't. I have to do all the leg work.
All they seemed worried about was am thinking of taking leagal action against them.
I write further to my email sent on 25 June 2015, regarding your Vauxhall
Mokka, vehicle registration number *******.
your case has now been fully reviewed by Management and our Legal department
here at Vauxhall.
reported this to the dealership they did raise a case with our technical
department however, it was confirmed that there was no fault found. Due to this
we are unable to assist further.
this is not the answer you were hoping for, although your case has been fully
reviewed. If you wish to seek further advice I would recommend contacting the
Motoring Ombudsmen, Motors Codes on 0800 692 0825.
If you need
any further assistance in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact me
back by either return email or by telephone on 0800 026 0034.
What would have been a favourable reply? Bearing in mind that you thought they suspect legal action will be taken by your goodself, what else could they have said? It appears they have placed 'the ball in your court.'
What I would have liked is for Vauxhall to recognise there is a potential to cause harm by the design of the shelf to it's customers in the form of a sharp edge on the parcel shelf, which in itself is an admission of liability so will not happen, and for them to remedy the sharp edge at the next service.
As i am not the only one to experience this, I'm guessing it is common to all Mokka's.
