<div align="left">I am about to become the owner of a new Mokka Tech-line. Monday the 18th Feb 2013. At the moment I am not as excited as I should be, this is proberbly because its the first time in 30 years I have not bought a Citroen car. I dont know what to expect yet as the 2 test drives I have had of the 1.7 diesel were ok, it seemed to do everything I thought it should do, but its just not the same as having your own. Its difficult to really try it out when the salesman is sat in the back. In fairness I did tell him I wanted to drive it on a motorway till my knuckles went white! His face drained of colour - no sense of humour.

I intend to enjoy the car when I get it, its real test will be when I go on my annual pilgrimage to my beloved Germany in a few weeks time. In the mean time I will continue to read the posts here.

You should see the sales guys face when you pull into the Pro Drive test track.

I note your other post worrying about whether you will regret buying a Mokka after owning Citroens for years. I've only ever owned Peugeots before, but I don't for 1 second regret the Mokka. I've had it for 5 weeks and the worst thing about it is the lack of footrest for your left foot when not using the clutch (foot ends up flat on the floor)!
It was emotional to give my Pug over, but I love the Mok, and after Citroens, you'll certainly see a difference!

Thanks for the vote of confidence on the Mokka. I will soon know what its like to actually be permanantly parted from my picasso, tomorrow is Mokka Monday. I did not notice the lack of a foot rest when I had my test drive. I am proberbly worrying about nothing.

A few days ago I posted a
message about picking up my new Mokka on Monday 18th Feb. I have been
reading all the posts of problems that other club members are having. I
am now expecting something to go wrong with it as soon as I pick it up.
Hopefully I am worrying about nothing.
I am now beginning to wonder
if I have made a huge mistake in buying one of these cars. I am now
wishing that I had bought another Citroen car. Monday will soon be here
and the proof of the pudding will be in the owning!
Fingers crossed.

Know what you mean Mokka Mick. I thought the days of "Friday
afternoon cars" went with British Leyland's demise but it looks like the
Koreans are keeping alive thistradition we abandoned decades ago.
I've had 2nd hand Hondas for yearsand they never let me down. I'm
seriously worried about spending all this dosh on something that is
going to give me endless trouble.
Hope all goes well with your pick up on Monday - let us know.

Hi guys!
I'm sure you will love it as much as I have so far.
We took it out for a long weekend away and it was great. No problems or anything. I don't have the extra's like the head lamps system, that sound like they are going wrong...but it is a diesel and it works well - so far.
So good luck with yours! :)
