Can anyone tell me what this tank is? I’m assuming there should be a cap on it?
Only noticed it has no cap when filling the windscreen washers. Thanks

Brake/clutch fluid reservoir.

As mokk the week says cap missing .needs replacing ASAP or the fluid will shake .then you will have no clutch or brakes

Long enough. Didn’t know which reservoir it was though??

take it you have never checked the brake / clutch fluid .

Dirty and contaminated hydraulic fluid is not good news.

Yup, and it will have absorbed more than its fair share of moisture, time for a fluid change.

Beforehand, thoroughly clean around the inside/neck of the reservoir.

Would be interesting to know when the last time the bonnet was opened prior to the brake/clutch cap was noticed missing -- they don't unscrew themselves or at least I've never known it before
