Driving along and lost all power, tried to restart, no joy, called out Green flag, guy unplugged the ignition coil, reconnected and car started, cleared the fault all good, for 24 hours, same thing again, copied breakdown guys fix and got the car going again, reported back to Vauxhall (Bolton) changed an air sensor, then back in for an catalytic converters, had it back a week and broke down same symptoms, took off the coil connector put it back on car starts. Had the car from new, now 3 year old and was fixed just in warranty, now saying it’s out of warranty, but the initial problem has not been rectified, explained symptoms to dealer, so all info passed, back in tomorrow, for another diagnostic!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your problems, as you already implied faults reported before the warranty expired should still be covered, if you have any difficulty with your dealer get on to Vauxhall customer services. (This thread will probably get moved to help and advice soon)
