I have a Samsung Galaxy Y Pro phone and spent an eternity trying to get it to work without success.
However after a conversation with the dealership I discovered that I was using the wrong control to access the settings. I was trying to do this using only the phone control on the steering wheel. It turned out that I had to use the phone control on the CD 400 fascia. Pressed this and LO & Behold all my phone contacts were already in there. Hence bluetooth phone calls and music streaming all working OK.
Hi mr mayo
Bluetooth phone works ok but my contacts don't show. As for music
Forgive me for being stupid but I take it you use the apple music app.
I do not see anything in bottom right hand corner. Any more tips. Do I have to use a different app.
Hi Squeak - and welcome to the MOC!!
If it is already connected via bluetooth then you can simply press the AUX button on the left of the radio and it should connect and start streaming music from you iphone. It wont recognise it as an ipod unless you connect via a 30 pin to USB cable to the USB port.
You can then press the central black button on the navigation wheel beneath the volume knob and make other changes.
I believe, like myself that some people are having probs connecting
Some iPhones to stream music.
Apparently there is a problem with the airplay icon not appearing in bottom right hand corner
of music player. There are a lot of cheesed off people out there trying
to sync to various speakers etc.
one solution is to change the language on yr phone to something different
Lets say French, then the icon appears. Then change back again to English.
Didn't work for me but has for many others.
Google will help you with more info.
Apologies for the confusion, iPad is on 6.01..
Apple did release a update couple of months ago but it got pulled out due to battery usage issue,
I never updated my iPad only did my iPhone. Edited by: MrMayo
Any chance people could say which radio they're using, as I have the nav600 and given up trying to get it to stream via Bluetooth. Looking in the manual there's a section on streaming on the cd400 but not that I could see on the nav600.
