Hi everyone, just joined MOC and this is my first post so apologies if this ends up in the wrong forum, I'm struggling with an issue with my 2018 Mokka 1.4 Turbo and hopefully you can help me with some technical advise with fixing and clearing P0131 and P0299 fault codes.

I've had some electrical gremlins with my car which I think (and could be wrong) has been caused by an auto electrician, I had an issue with the radiator cooling fan not working properly which was diagnosed as corroded and failed resistor pack on the radiator cowling that manages the fan speed (low, medium, high), instead of obtaining and fitting a replacement it was bypassed so that the fan ran at full speed every time, since then I've had a few issues which I've been working through.

List of work carried out by me so far -

1. New radiator resistor pack fitted and working correctly.
2. Both pre and post cat Lambda sensors fitted trying to clear P0131, fuel system is running as a closed loop and sensors appear to work properly)
3. Fuel Evap purge control valve fitted (related to lean running fault now cleared)
4. Wiring loom opened up from pre cat Lambda sensor to fuse box, checked all wiring for breaks, continuity, damage etc... (no fault found)
5. ECU replaced with a second hand cloned unit ( no change to faults)

The faults I still have on the car are both classed as 'archived / not active -

1. P0131 Low voltage to oxygen sensor bank 1 (pre cat)
2. P0299 Low turbo boost

I know that the under boost code is how the engine creates a limp mode by reducing power and protecting the engine and not necessarily related to a turbo issue and my thinking is if i can clear the P0131 code then all will be well but i'm struggling at the moment.

The car drives perfectly under normal running, low boost conditions and will drive a long time without putting the car into limp mode or it wont do it all but when the car is laboured up a hill for example it goes into limp mode quickly.

Apologies for the long winded email but wanted to get as much info across as possible.

Thanks in advance, Scott (y)

Thanks Wellinever, I know expecting responses straight away was a big ask but the I was hoping someone on here can offer some advice to save me pulling my hair out which is turning grey faster because of this fault 😂

I've looked at various P0299 faults but i'm convinced this is being brought by the P0131 code for the pre cat Lambda sensor which i can't seem to clear at the moment despite the work i've already done.

Cheers 👍
