I love my Mokka (2016, 1.4) but now that the weathers colder I've noticed intermittent heating problems. Can anyone off advice please? Is it something we can sort or does it need a mechanic? Cheers

My petrol 1.4 Turbo heats up very quickly, one of the best cars I’ve had for short runs and one of the reasons I’m reluctant to change it.

I was looking at another thread about heater performance and was quite intrigued to read (quote) “Diesels take longer to heat up because they are always taking in a full cylinder full of cold air - unlike a petrol where the throttle limits the air going in - which is very good at cooling the cylinders, they are also a different type of burn which means they run cooler”.

I always said it’s a poor day if you don’t learn something! :ROFLMAO:
