It's not that bad though you do have to worry about the boot size as the Kuga (old style now the new one is coming out) is fairly small for the size of car. I wonder how that boot opens? Nice to see that maybe they include a full size spare (and bumper protector)...... I really am not a backside man no matter how this post portrays me.

Was thinking . . . ."Mmmmmm at least it has a full sized spare". Not sure I like it hanging off the back tho'. Then you notice. Where's the boot gone?

I can't decide if the Ecosport looks good or bad.....the front view looks a little like a beefed up mini (if you squint your eyes). Looks like the boot opens by lifting the tail up (like the Mokka) just a guess mind. However those alloys look absolutely awefull and whilst the front end looks acceptable? The rear is pure (sh*te) rubbish. Wonder how much Ford want to charge for it, maybe they'll offer new adopters money to drive it.

Come on, guys. I know it's been a long wait, but don't start looking & comparing other manufacturers models against our 'Little Gems'! We've all decided that we want a Mokka & 'all good things come to those who wait'. Surely your homework/reci's were done previously. Now 'pack it up' & concentrate on willing our 'babies' to us quickly! You must write 500 times 'I want a Mokka - I've ordered a Mokka'

Have to wonder why it wasn't styled like the new Kuga?

Both look ok (eurosport and SX4), but I still prefer Mokka.
I like spare wheelsmounted on the back - junk the pretty casing and useas an easy and cheap bike mount.

I'ts a Ford is the steering wheel an optional extra?
Fact..... It was as recently as the year 2000 that Ford were forced by compeditors
to up their waranty from 1year to the 3 years they grudgingly give now!

who's old enough to remember the ford escort / fiesta popular models
Basic was not the word. The rip off that was these cars is why I would not touch Ford with a barge pole today. I have a long memory.

Ah yes, the old Ford Escort Popular models....I can see them now-gleaming brand new in the brochures of the era. A beautiful young lady wearing the hairstyle of the day having the passenger door opened for her (because women never drove in those days - not in car brochures anyway), by a sports jacketed polo neck wearing cigar smoking Hi Karate smelling Jason King look-a-like (wait a minute...that was me).
They never advertised that the heater wouldn't work because the controls would come off in your hand; that if you caught it on the gate post reversing out of your driveit would rip the tinny front wing off...and the door if you were really unlucky; that the wheels were narrower than a Vauxhall Mokka SpaceSaver; that you would, for no fathomable reason whatsoever, (before some of you - and you know who you are - come out with comment!),get moisture on the inside of all the windows in August and, that you wouldn't be able to have a conversation if you went on a motorway.

Memories are wonderful....

P.S. I do NOT look like Jason King by the way!! Not since I shaved my tash off in 19-something or other.
