Methinks it won't be long before injury/loss of life starts to happen which is not good -- well at least the scooters will carry insurance which then begs the question about the private electric scooters which are deemed illegal at this present time

Rest easy, once they take off "Darn Sarf" lorry loads will be transported to Greater Manchester.

Rather surprised but pleased you will need a licence, specifically one that lets you drive a category Q vehicle.
The use of privately owned e-scooters remains illegal, except on private land.

Too many laws the police turn a blind eye to, either nick em and fine them enough to make it self financing or make them legal so they have to insure them!

In one press release it was said "The renewal premium will decrease £50 due to Covid 19 with cars being used less" and now an increase due to scooter crash bill. :rolleyes:
