Signed all the paperwork yesterday and collect the new car on Saturday.
The car had just arrived at the showroom so got to sit in it (Still in its raw state).

I noticed that the mileage was reading 154.

Struck me as a bit high. Can anyone tell me if this is in the normal range for a NEW car?

Thanks

Seems a bit high, however if it is a stock car it could well have been delivered by road from one dealer to another by road(not on a transporter) which could account for he higher mileage.

It arrived by sea at Bristol and came down on a transporter to the vauxhall dealer which is why I was unsure about the mileage.
I think I will be asking a few questions when I collect it Saturday morning!

Thats abit high.. mine only came with 7 miles on the clock!
I would suspect that someone has used the car.

How many miles from Bristol to Plymouth?
154 miles isn't, in my humble opinion, 'delivery mileage'.
It might have arrived on a transporter, but it sure didn't get on it at Bristol.
I would say "Its awfully nice of you to show me that, but where is my NEW car?"

My delivery mileage - 6.

It could still be in the delivery milage setting so once its been checked before they hand you the keys you may find its been reset. Lets just hope so...

Mine came with 73 miles on it but it was driven to me from 66 miles away so i would have only had 7 on it as well if it had been transported!!

What hads said could be true and is definatley worth asking about otherwise i would think some of the sales force may have been using it!!!
