Hi all

Great forum.
Due to take delivery of 1.7 cdti 4x4 exclusiv tomorrow looking forward to it.

Paid 19800 ( no extras just metallic paint )

Have noticed that the total price includes 583.33 delivery charge.

Has anyone else paid this it seems a bit steep.

Also got a decent trade in on ailing 09 plate alfa 147

It gets worse before it gets better.

There's VAT to add to the £583.33 brining it up to a nice round£700. It includes number plates & delivery to dealer but is pretty standard across the motor trade.

List price for your spec is £20235

Plus first reg fee £55 & delivery £700 gives a OTR(On the road price) of £20990

Then add metallic paint £525 givesaprice to you of £21515

So you got a £1715 discount to helpsweeten the delivery charge

It's a trade off between cheap Far Eastern labour & higher shipping/delivery costs. I guess it works out cheaper for Vauxhall in the long run but that doesn't help us with the long wait. Now where's my book & cup of tea?

£583-33 + vat is vauxhall's standard delivery charge for all cars
Regardless of where its made I believe. The wife just bought a
Corsa and was charged the same. I think the corsa is made in Spain
