Hello Mokka and soon to be Mokka owners. Just a quick one. Cambelt, is this chain driven or rubber belt? Or Diesel and petrol different. Am waiting for my diesel and jus hope its chain driven. Thanks.

Sorry i dont know but to reassure you it wont need changing til 100,000 miles and with Warranty up until that time I wouldnt be worrying what its made of.

Thought that most cars these days had timing belts.
Most recommend renewal at 40,000/50,000 or 4 years so warranty won't be valid unless you have adhered to the schedule.

Eww not sure about the time when to change but there is a copy of the owners manual in the forum somewhere

Of course all cars have timing belts. But some are rubber which need replacing so many miles and some are chain which dosent unless it starts rattling.
