Has anybody else encountered the following?
I'm driving down the A1 towards Hatfield at around 8:40AM on my way to work and pass under one of the overhead gantries at which point the colour console switches from day to night mode and the dipped beam comes on. I'm assuming it's a light sensor picking up the shadow being cast by the gantry. After a couple of seconds everything goes back to normal however the vehicle in front thinks I'm flashing my lights at them.
I then drive into the Hatfield tunnel at which point nothing happens, the colour console remains in day mode and the dipped beam doesn't switch on. This also means there are no red tail lights either. Then about two thirds of the way through the tunnel, the sat nav console switches to night mode and the dipped beam comes on. I then exit the tunnel and after a few seconds everything goes back to daytime running mode. This happens every morning without fail.
Compare this to my BMW 330d M Sport Touring, I drive under the gantry, the automatic lights do not switch on. I drive into the Hatfield tunnel and the lights switch on; when I exit the tunnel the lights switch off.
Is there anyway of tuning this on the Mokka as I don't want to trade in for a BMW X1 just yet.
