Hi John B. Yes should. stay on - the auto lights are for main headlights - same as my Insignia. When the sensors determine it's dark enough, the headlights come on automatically - the side lights are continual running lights with the ignition on. Enjoy your new motor - mine's about a month away (still on the boat off the Greek coast) - can't wait!!

Yes, daylight running lights (DRL's) stay on regardless of whether the auto lights are on or off.


Enjoy your new car, I've had mine for a couple of months now and after 2,500 miles have nothing bad to say about it.
