Last nights home game v Southampton ended in a 1-1 draw. (Sigh of relief) The guy we got rid of then never made it at Everton and finished up where he started returns to score against us then has an indirect involvement in Gabriel being sent off for his second yellow card within 4minutes. Having to play the last 60 minutes once again with ten men was an acceptable result but shows a total lack of discipline at the club. Things must improve.

Yesterday and another 2-1 loss away at Everton. :censored: The good new is, they still had 11 men at the finish.

A 2-0 win at home to Newcastle in the 3rd Round FA Cup was a good result even though extra time was needed. Well done lads and a clean sheet to boot. (y)

Knocked out of the FA Cup at Southampton today 1-0 and I'm thinking it was the wrong selection by the manager. He has one eye on Tuesday in the Premiership when we once again play away at Southampton. Hopefully all will be available in our strong preferable team. (y)

All was available (apart from Aubameyang) and with a stronger team beat Southampton 3-1 last night. Each man played their part and was a joy to watch. Well done lads. (y)

At home yesterday evening v Manchester United resulted in a 0-0 draw. Considering we were under strength and against a strike force of Cavani, Rashford, Fernandes, Martial, Pogba and Greenwood to keep a clean sheet was exceptional. Well done lads and a welcome point. Hopefully our new addition Martin Odegaard will be successful. Click

Away at Wolves last night and lost 2-1. Leading 1-0 as half time approached, Arsenal dominating when a controversial decision concerning David Luiz resulted in a red card and a penalty equaliser.
More madness to follow in the second half by our goalkeeper and him sent off. Now down to nine men and the manager must instil some discipline into this outfit.

I have been on about poor discipline at this club for some time now and its taken a club player to bring it to the forefront. Now maybe the manager will act and show some authority.

Another match lost, this time away 1-0 today at Aston Villa. We were a goal down after 72 seconds and with our strike force and 92 minutes remaining, we should have been able to win this game.
Just looking at today's stats. 66% possession, 14 shots and only 3 on target shows where the weakness is. If anything good came out of this game it was the fact we finish with 11 men. o_O
